WWE sends veteran announcer Joe Tessitore to play-by-play role alongside Corey Graves and Wade Barrett

WWE is adding an elite sports personality to its ranks. College football and boxing announcer Joe Tessitore, 53, signed a deal to provide play-by-play for WWE starting this summer.

What is still unclear is what screen Tessitore will present, although WWE confirmed that he will perform alongside Corey Graves and Wade Barrett. Graves is currently the ring of supremacy alongside Barrett on “SmackDown,” which airs on Friday nights, a year in which Michael Cole and Pat McAfee commentate on “Raw” on Monday nights.
