WWE’s main roster recently hosts 9 championships. SummerSlam on August 3 saw four new champions crowned in an exhibition that set the stage for the 2024 finale.

The winners of the King and Queen of the Ring event, Gunther and Nia Jax, effectively challenged for the WWE Arena Heavyweight and Women’s titles, respectively, the year LA Knight and Bron Breakker were main roster champions during the first month.

The biggest story to come out of SummerSlam was WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa, but it had less to do with the name and more to do with its implications. Roman Reigns returned for the first month since losing to Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, leaving Solo Sikoa to set the stage for a match between Bloodline and Bloodline.

As 2024 reaches its midpoint, see who holds all the championships on WWE’s main roster.

WWE Undisputed Championship: Cody Rhodes (defeated Roman Reigns on April 7, 2024)

Rhodes’ long quest to win the championship that had eluded his mythical wrestling population ended on Night 2 of WrestleMania 40 when he defeated Roman Reigns. Rhodes faced Reigns at WrestleMania 39, but got his revenge a year later, defeating “Bloodline Rules” to end Reigns’ 1,316 days as champion.

International Heavyweight Championship: Gunther (defeated Damian Priest on August 3, 2024)

Gunther’s impressive career in the main squad continues. The longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in WWE history used his victory in the King of the Ring tournament to challenge Priest for the heavyweight title in the arena at SummerSlam. Gunther’s victory is relatively marred by Finn Balor’s betrayal of his head priest Wisdom Presen. However, “The Ring General” will take its global name to its well-worn grounds in Germany for WWE’s inaugural Bash PPV in Berlin.

International Women’s Championship: Liv Morgan (defeated Becky Lynch on May 25, 2024)

Morgan went on a self-proclaimed “revenge tour” closer to suffering a shock at the hands of Rhea Ripley, vowing to speed up the women’s world championship. Then wounding Ripley in a behind-the-scenes altercation, Morgan turned his attention to Becky Lynch, the closest to “The Man” who got the vacant name in a real war. The two faced off at King and Queen of the Ring, with Morgan taking the closer victory due to accidental interference from Dominik Mysterio. “Dirty Dom” arrived late to the game and slid a chair into the ring to help Lynch, but Morgan DDT’d Lynch on the chair instead and hit his Excuse finisher for the win.

WWE Women’s Championship: Nia Jax (defeated Bayley August 3, 2024)

Jax is WWE Women’s Champion for the second month in her nine-year professional wrestling career. Jax won the Reina del Ring tournament in May to earn a shot against Bayley at SummerSlam. Jax beat the underdog champion for much of the game. After Bayley was given the upper hand, Jax found major support from her new best friend. Tiffany Stratton teased cashing in her Cash in the Storehouse briefcase, allowing Jax to place an end-of-match bet and become champion.

Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (defeated Sami Zayn on August 3, 2024)

Breakker would now not be denied a second month. The former NXT Champion did not defeat Zayn for the Intercontinental Title at Cash in the Storehouse, but he did best the wrestling champion in a rematch at SummerSlam. Breakker dropped Zayn with some spears to capture the Intercontinental Title just over three months into his first year on the rookie main roster.

United States Championship: LA Knight (defeated Logan Paul August 3, 2024)

It took Knight more than his share of an hour, but he is a WWE main roster champion after all. Knight defeated Logan Paul in an exciting game to win the US championship. Knight had a great year in 2023, but had yet to win a singles title on the first roster after 21 years of his professional wrestling career. Knight easily countered a buckshot lariat from Paul right into a pivotal BFT for the pinfall.

Workforce International Tag Championship: JD McDonagh & Finn Balor (defeated The Superior Fact on June 24, 2024)

Amid the Judgment Presen turmoil, most commonly fueled by Liv Morgan’s constant harassment of Dominik Mysterio, the gang scored a major victory. Then, upon being “saved” through Mysterio, Morgan helped Judgment Presen by manipulating R-Fact into giving McDongah and Balor a chance to name Fact and The Miz. Morgan then became unbalanced and attacked Fact, ending the situation when McDonagh and Balor seized the titles at Uncooked.

WWE Tag Team Championship: Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga (obtained August 2, 2024)

The Bloodline has gold once again. Something that until now isolated Sikoa and Reigns’ versions of The Bloodline was the rarity of the new team’s titles. Fatu and Tonga resolved this by defeating #DIY to become WWE Tag Team Champions on the final SmackDown before SummerSlam. The final series saw Fatu crash Johnny Gargano with a pop-up Samoan Cut, a jumping moonsault and an impaling DDT in succession to put the game down to the wire.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Isla Crack of Dawn & Alba Fyre (defeated Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill on June 15, 2024)

Collision on the Fortress event was a wicked night for Piper Niven and Drew McIntyre leading enthusiasts from their birthplace in Scotland, fans scored a big win for the locals as Crack of Dawn and Fyre emerged from a triple ultimatum game . against champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill and the group of Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark with the titles. Belair and Cargill were safe in not having to rush in the fall and enthusiasts had a nice past to look at as some locals took main list gold within the first month of their runs.
