The New York Liberty are teaming up with Xbox to play on a Starfield-themed court.
The special design, which includes Starfield’s signature rainbow-like coloration in the key and Starfield emblems near the midway line, will be used on the court at the Barclays Center.
It will be utilized for the team’s games against the Los Angeles Sparks later today and the Washington Mystics on Sunday, September 10.
This is the second time the Liberty has collaborated with Xbox to create a video game-themed court. Last August, the team featured an Xbox-themed court for two games.
However, this is the first time the court will be based on a certain game.
The CEO of the New York Liberty, Keia Clarke, stated in a statement, “We’re proud to continue our award-winning cooperation with Xbox showcasing another unique secondary court and the global premiere of Starfield.

“Continuing our relationship with Xbox allows us to reach and connect with new fans and establish synergy between the WNBA and gaming communities.”
“This collaboration will come to fruition at a historic time for both parties, with Bethesda Studios releasing its largest video game in over a decade and the New York Liberty enjoying their best season in franchise history.”
On September 6, Starfield was released for Xbox Series X/S, PC through Windows and Steam, and Game Pass.
The game reached one million concurrent gamers on the day of its formal debut, according to Xbox CEO Phil Spencer.
