Things are getting tough between the Tennessee Titans and the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium in Maryland. A fight broke out in the first quarter of the Week 13 matchup, with several members of each side involved.

At the time of the fight, the Commanders were up 21-0. Here’s a look at the fight:

A 16-yard touchdown pass from Jayden Daniels to Terry McLaurin extended the Commanders’ early lead. As Zane Gonzalez kicked the extra point through the uprights, Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons and Commanders guard Sam Cosmi began attacking each other.

Simmons’ helmet came off early in the fight, Cosmi apparently took it off, and the two were shoving each other, pulling shirts and grabbing helmets. The situation intensified with the participation of more players from both sides. The infraction was called a personal foul and the referees cited unnecessary roughness.

This is how it all started:

Other Commanders players seen in the fight include tackle Cornelius Lucas, guard Michael Deiter and long snapper Tyler Ott, among others. Titans nose tackle T’Vondre Sweat, cornerback Tre Avery, defensive end Sebastian Joseph-Day, outside linebacker Arden Key and cornerback Gabe Jeudy-Lally were also some of the players on the field during the incident.

Veteran Commanders linebacker Bobby Wagner, whom the CBS broadcast called the “peacemaker,” appeared to exchange words with Simmons and Avery.

After the scrimmage, Gonzalez kicked the ball 63 yards from the Tennessee 20 and Jha’Quan Jackson ran to the 30-yard line, but then fumbled. The ball was recovered by Commanders’ Mykal Walker at the Titans’ 34-yard line.

The Commanders turned the fumble recovery into another touchdown, leading 28-0.
