INGLEWOOD, California – The Minnesota Vikings left Christian Darrisaw walking on crutches Thursday night and then suffering trauma to his left knee in the second quarter of his team’s 30-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Vikings teacher Kevin O’Connell later said his team is “crossing our fingers that we get some positive news,” but was unsure of the severity of Darrisaw’s trauma.
Darrisaw, who has been having a Pro Bowl-caliber season, was blocking with 35 seconds left in the first half when Rams defensive back Jaylen McCollough went down in his knee.
