Twitch removed a badge that recognized esports creators in chat streams.

Developers who submitted an application that included a sporting possession claim before November 1, 2024, will be able to complete their review by December 1, 2024.
Those who have submitted an application without a sports possession claim will be denied, but will be allowed to resubmit.
As for whether the badge will be reintroduced, Bulava said the detail “has challenges to overcome” before it happens.
“There are no plans to consider this functionality at this time, but it may be re-evaluated in the future given the potential to facilitate communication between developers and creators who love to play their games.”
