Treyarch teases new Black Ops 6 Zombies map and some quality of life updates for Season 2, kicks off double XP for everyone

Treyarch has delivered a wealth of Unlit Ops 6 information at the 115 Era birthday party, a Zombies town birthday party. And on that note, the developer presented a first look at The Tomb, the new map coming to the game with Season 2.

That’s not all, Season 2 may be looking promising in other areas of Zombies, with a ton of event updates, some of which were teased for a week.

Initially, Treyarch is celebrating Generation 115 by kicking off six days of Double XP, Double Weapon XP, Double War Pass XP, and Double GobbleGum Earning Commission. The promotion is active from now until Tuesday, January 21.

As for The Tomb, the blog post featured some screenshots of the closest map. The map arrives during Season 2, on January 28, and represents the closest episode of the ongoing Zombies narrative. The occasions when the team approached the playing field survived Citadelle des Morts – the map was added midway through Season 1.

The Tomb is an excavation site built on the remains of burial fields from 2500 BC. C. Treyarch said the map will play similarly to Independence Falls, albeit with smaller environments. Like all Zombies maps, in fact, there is a first-level Easter egg mission along with a couple of smaller ones. The Tomb also features a “Wonder Weapon reinvented and inspired by our past.”

Additionally, several event setting features for zombies will be included in Season 2. Monitoring problems is receiving much-needed love; You will now be able to manually monitor up to ten demanding Calling Card scenarios and ten demanding Camo scenarios depending on the method. Although you don’t have all ten selected, the demanding situations closest to completion will fill those spaces.

You will be able to see the control and the closest to completion in the lobby and in the game while you rest. Speaking of which, the party boss will soon be able to rest on cooperative games, as long as all participants can be together in the same party.

Those who get kicked out of co-op rounds for being AFK won’t have to start over once they rejoin, as the game will now keep their gear, Essence, and Salvage intact. In any case, Treyarch makes it possible to have isolated HUD presets for Zombies and multiplayer, meaning you can deactivate the settings in a week while keeping them active in the alternative.
