VGC’s Patreon offering will evolve in 2025 to reflect the excellent support we’ve received so far.
Patreon.com/VideoGamesChronicle is the best way to support the site and get access to more podcasts, videos, and exclusive content that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the world of gaming. Not only that, but every week, users receive a roundup of weekly gaming news through an exclusive VGC newsletter.
We’ve published over 60 pieces of exclusive content since launching in July 2024, but now we plan to evolve our offering to offer more of what our early followers enjoyed the most. Here’s how we’re evolving our Patreon offering in 2025.
VGC Patreon Calendar 2025
This is what doesn’t change:
- CVG: Our retro gaming podcast remains exactly as is. The first episode of 2025 will be about the Nintendo GameCube and will be released this month.
- Off topic: We need to let our hair (or lack thereof) down from time to time, so that Off-Topic stays exactly as it is now. The first episode of 2025 will be released this week.
- The three of us watch E3: Our E3 surveillance continues. We’ve barely scratched the surface! The next episode will arrive at the end of January.
This is what’s coming:
- More vlogs (Insider): We already have several trips booked and longer vlogs will be a key part of them. Will they all include a sandwich as big as the one in the TGA vlog? We can only wait.
- Acceptable in the ’90s (Insider): You loved us watching GamesMaster and Bad Influence, so who are we to say no? GamesMaster and Bad Influence viewings are coming! We will start them at the end of January.
- Middler vs Scullion (supporter): We are meant to do this forever. MVS returns at the end of January.
- VGC Site Comments (All Levels): As our community grows, commenting privileges on articles on the VGC website will soon be exclusive to Patreon members.
One thing that won’t be returning in its current form is the monthly Q&A module. Instead, we’ll be incorporating this into our other podcasts as a longer section.
We love answering listener questions, to the point that we found we were doing it on virtually every show, making a Q&A show feel like just a longer section of a regular podcast, rather than something unique. .
