The first three Games of the Core Blinded series are reaching the PS Plus Classics catalog at the end of this year.
As announced during the last presentation of PlayStation State of Play, the three Basic armors of PS1 will arrive in 2025, but a release date was not confirmed.
Sony also confirmed a previous leak, announcing that the PSP Patapon 3 title will come to the Classics catalog next week.
Fromsoftware developed each game of the armored Core series, with the first launch in PS1 in July 1997. The first game saw the players assume missions to earn money that could later be spent on updating their Central Central armored unit.
The second game, Armored Core: Project Phantasma, was released five months later and was designed to be an independent expansion. He added a sand mode and the ability to load data from the first armored nucleus and take them to the Phantasma project. It is not yet known if this functionality will be replicated when the games reach the classic catalog.
The third game, Armored Core: Master of Aren following year.
After more than a decade on the sidelines, Fromsoftware brought back the armored nucleus in 2023 with Armorred Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, which was launched in PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game was praised by critics, with a metacritical score of 86.
