The author of the order Super Wreck Bros. and Kirby began production of his then game project in 2022.
Masahiro Sakurai teased the project in the final episode of his YouTube request ‘Creating Games’, which was posted on Tuesday and posted below.
“It was around July 2021,” he mentioned. “I was busy working on the DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. To be precise, I was putting together the video for ‘Mr. Sakurai presents: Kazuya’. Sora was also in development, of course. Oh, and by Sora I mean the fighter. It’s not that company you may have heard of.
“While I was busy working on those tasks, I received a request to write a game proposal, which I finished at lightning speed. I’m sorry I can’t share more about this project, but assuming we can get it done, it should be announced sooner or later.
“Then, at the end of October 2021… Sora was released and my work commitments were more or less resolved,” he insisted. “There was, of course, that new game proposal I had written. I had been given the go-ahead to move forward with production, but it would take some time to assemble the right team. The expected deadline was April 2022. Until then, I would have to wait.”
With this gap in his schedule, Sakurai decided to build his YouTube channel.
“How can I pass on the knowledge I have acquired over the years to as many people as possible? “I thought about that for a long time,” he mentioned. “In the end, I decided to create this channel: a lasting archive of information that people can access whenever they want.”
Sakurai said he ended up making plans for the entire run of the YouTube channel in the months before production on his then-game began, writing the script for all 260 episodes except for today’s finale.
“In other words, the final count and content of all these videos was already decided from the beginning of the channel. Everything was planned from start to finish. “This is how I could tell you that the channel would end sometime this year and that all the footage prior to this video was recorded over two and a half years ago.”
“[By August 2022, when the channel launched] The game project I mentioned had already started production, so since I had prepared myself, I had to work on both companies at the same time,” he added.
Sakurai said that at a normal age he would get up at 8 a.m. and basically run around on his recreational construction project until 6:30 p.m. Then he went to dinner before the inauguration paintings on his YouTube channel at 8 p.m. He would try Do this before midnight, which would allow you to play video games or exercise before going to bed between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m.
