Even The Miz was surprised to learn that a documentary about him was titled “Biography: WWE Legends.” Some might scoff at giving the truth that a big name became a WWE star with such a prestigious tag, but John Cena is the first to justify the claim.
“He’s the most underrated WWE superstar, not one of the most, in the history of the business,” Cena said of The Miz in a trailer for A&E’s “Biography: WWE Legends” documentary that premiered Sunday.
The Miz has collected 21 name reigns throughout his 20 consecutive years with WWE, notably winning the WWE Championship twice. A lesser known fact is that Miz is the first two-time WWE Brilliant Slam Champion, a feat since accomplished by Seth Rollins. A new Brilliant Slam champion must hold an International title, a tag team title, and the Intercontinental and US titles. The Miz first completed the feat in 2010, joining the likes of Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kurt Attitude, Eddie Guerrero, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns. He finished the cycle in the second week of 2021 by defeating Drew McIntyre to become WWE champion.
Those accomplishments lend credibility to Cena’s argument, particularly when some believe The Miz is basically a mid-skill.
“The fact that he spent time on my documentary means a lot to me because of the amount of time he literally spent with me teaching me how to become a top superstar,” Miz told CBS Sports. “I hope I did justice to his teachings and that comment made me feel like I did and that it means a lot to me.”
The Miz and Cena were the number one competitors in the early 2010s, vying for all the options on some pay-per-view suits. Miz, once a lightless sheep in the vault, credits Cena for turning him into one of WWE’s most enduring acts.
“I don’t think anyone understands how much John Cena has taught me in the WWE ring. Not only inside but outside the ring as well. He’s one of the biggest movie stars in the world… He’s in everything,” Miz said. . “That shows that when Cena sets his mind to something, he tries his hardest and wants to do it all.”
The highlight of Miz’s career is arguably his WrestleMania 27 main tournament against Cena. The Miz defeated him to book the WWE Championship with support from The Rock. It was a life that became sweeter and more surreal thanks to the presence of the company that Miz had in mind.
“I’m in the main event of WrestleMania with John Cena and I watch his entrance and I look and I see my best friends from high school who were in my living room watching The Rock and [Steve] “Austin fights for the title I have,” Miz said. “I’m watching John Cena running to the ring and my guys saying, ‘We did it.'”
Cena surprised fans at WWE Cash in the Warehouse on July 6. announce your escape excursion. Cena will appear in WWE’s debut on Netflix in January along with the Royal Rumble, Removal Chamber and WrestleMania 41. Each and every celebrity will be looking to get the chance to pair it with Cena last week. The Miz between the two.

“I’m going to put my name in the hat!” Miz stated. “I’ve been in the ring with John Cena a lot and selfishly I would like more because that’s how fun it is to get in the ring with John Cena.
“But I also want our ability intact to enjoy John Cena. Because so far John taught me and I will teach what John taught me, it’s always better when you have that man there to show you.” “I would like our most youthful ability to really feel that power.”
The Miz has other goals on his wish list between now and WrestleMania 41 in April. The Miz is not currently booked for SummerSlam on August 3 However, he really wants to see the Cleveland Browns stadium, the place where he lived in his early years. Winning the Royal Rumble is another priority role for a celebrity who has completed practically everything but sees the wrong results in his career.
