A new Mewtwo promotional card is now available in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

The card, which is a rare variant of the rare Mewtwo card already available in the game, is redeemable by players who have paid for the game‘s Premium Pass.

The Mewtwo promo card is one of the latest promo cards scheduled for release in the first set of Pokémon TCG pocket promo cards. So far, 21 promotional cards have been available through quests or through the in-game store. The remaining two cards will be released as part of a promotional event expected to begin next week.

Another limited Pokémon TCG Pocket event is currently taking place, with the chance to collect a rare Venusaur special art card.

Pokémon TCG Pocket has reportedly surpassed $120 million in revenue since its full release.

Earlier this month, The Pokémon Company released the first roadmap for the mobile game and detailed some of the updates coming soon.

“To start, we plan to add new booster packs before the end of the year,” he wrote on social media. “In addition, we aim to add a feature that allows certain cards to be traded starting in January 2025. We plan to gradually expand the selection of cards that can be traded.”

He added: “In addition, we have other new features in development outside of the commercial feature presented here. We plan to announce more details about the update as dates for the addition of these features are finalized, so please look forward to it.”
