He added that the success of Swansea’s “player exchange model” will be a “really important component” in any future progress, with data analysis a key aspect of the club’s approach along with scouting.
“We now have a recruiting team of 15, 16, 17 people, growing daily,” Coleman said.
“They try to give us the best opportunity to discover the next Ronald, the next Gonçalo Franco, the next Eom Ji-sung, so that we can have an advantage over the competition in the Championship.”
In a statement released by the club, Cravatt said he was “delighted” to be involved in an “exciting new chapter” for Swansea.
“Each of us in the ownership group have built and run successful businesses from the ground up,” he said.
“We’ve seen firsthand the immense value of creating the right culture led by dedicated teams that make data-driven decisions.”
Director Morris, co-founder of Capital One, said he wanted to ensure Swansea was successful “for generations to come”.
“Although I live in the United States, my roots are in Wales and my Welsh heritage is an important part of my life,” he added.
Cohen said: “I have been fortunate to build and lead companies that have put a high-performance business culture at the center of their operating models.
“I look forward to working with Andy and the team to take Swansea City to new heights.”
Paul Meller, who represents the Supporters’ Trust on Swansea’s board, said he was “delighted” with the change of ownership.
The Trust went on to say that the acquisition represents the start of an “exciting new chapter” following the “failed promises” of the past.
“We believe it is essential that there is true local ownership and decision-making capacity for the club in the future, something that has not existed in the last seven or eight years,” a statement read.
“These years have been difficult for the club, the Trust and the fans, from the way the club was bought and the subsequent failed promises, to relegation from the Premier League and the last few years adapting to the harsh financial realities of the Championship .
“The Trust has been at the forefront of these challenges and we are hopeful that today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for all those associated with Swansea City.”
Coleman, meanwhile, says the search for a replacement for Paul Watson, who left his role as Swansea sporting director last month, is ongoing.
On Watson, who was criticized by fans during his 16-month stay in Wales, Coleman added: “Look, I don’t talk about HR matters. I wish Paul nothing but the greatest success in the future.”
“I’m sure he’ll do very well, but now we’re looking forward and my job is to get the next sporting director, or a position in that space, so we can be proud of it.”
