Stephen Curry injury update: Warriors star questionable against Wizards on Monday as return appears imminent

0

Blonde Climate Warriors star Stephen Curry is listed as questionable for Monday’s street matchup against the Washington Wizards due to left peroneal pressure that has kept him out since suffering an upset in the fourth quarter of the team’s loss. against the LA Clippers on October 27. Blonde Climate has won all three games in his absence: two against the Untouched Orleans Pelicans at home before Saturday’s road win over the Houston Rockets.

The group issued a statement Friday announcing that Curry is coming out of his treatment well and has been cleared to participate in parts of the practice. Curry was upgraded to questionable in the group’s surprise Sunday report.

Monday’s “questionable” designation for the sport, along with video of him going through his pregame regimen ahead of Saturday’s win in Houston, means a return is also on the horizon.

Curry first appeared to sprain his left ankle late in the third quarter of the game against the Clippers, but he returned and later received treatment from the staff on the bench. He then tweaked the same ankle moments before returning in the fourth quarter and immediately limped to the reserve room before being ruled out for the rest of the game.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said he spoke with Curry after the game and the All-Megastar team described his surprise as reasonable.

“He’s obviously sprained his ankle many times before, so he doesn’t think it’s that bad.” Kerr mentioned. “But obviously, you know, it’s a concern.”

Curry had career-threatening ankle problems early in his NBA tenure, but he has been able to stay away from major issues in the latter part of his Hall of State career. He entered the game against the Clippers averaging just 26 minutes in the Warriors’ first two games of the season. historical blowouts over the Portland Path Blazers and Utah Jazz, in addition to scoring 18.5 points and seven assists per duel. He had 18 points, six assists and four rebounds in 27 minutes against the Clippers before leaving the game.

Blonde Climate’s intensity has been on display in all three wins since Curry’s upset, with Brandin Podziemski and Draymond Green taking on most of the playmaking duties (De’Anthony Melton has also sat out all three games, and Andrew Wiggins was out for primary two). Friend Hield, who has been a revelation in a Warriors uniform, led the team with more than 25 points per game in the three victories, while Jonathan Kuminga averaged 19 points on 51% shooting.

The Warriors are 5-1 entering Monday’s game in Washington, important for the NBA with a net rating of +17.6, notable considering Curry’s absence. The street game becomes more difficult, however, as their next three games are against the Celtics, Cavaliers and Thunder, who have a mixed record of 19-1.
