Bengals big receiver Tee Higgins could be unavailable near a quad factor on Friday, sources told ESPN’s Dan Graziano on Saturday night. Higgins will be a game-time decision for the home matchup, but there is pessimism about his chances of taking over the field.
Higgins was in perfect mode at this point. He had 75 or more receiving yards in all three games of the Generation and played a key role in consecutive victories over the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns.
The fifth-year receiver out of Clemson struggled incorrectly until Friday, when he was limited in the team’s practice and was officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s contest.
Higgins missed two games early in the season due to a soft tissue injury. Later, having major issues in training camp, he suffered a hamstring injury just days before the team’s season opener against the Fresh England Patriots. Higgins missed that match and the next one against Kansas Town in Life 2.
In five games this season, Higgins has 29 receptions for 341 yards and two touchdowns.
