The Washington commanders have once again signed the Defensive Wing Clelin Ferrell to a one -year contract, a source to ESPN told Saturday.
Ferrell provides another veteran final for the commanders, who have loaded in a depth of delivery along their defensive forehead.
It began 10 of the 14 regular season games last season last season, ending with 3.5 captures, one less than its career and drawing its total of 2023, reached in 17 games, with the 49ers of San Francisco. Ferrell opened as a reserve in the last four regular seasonal games and the three playoff competitions of the commanders.
Ferrell, 27, was inactive of weeks 3-5 due to a persistent knee injury that limited him in the preseason. Ferrell was injured the knee for the first time at the end of the regular season of 2023 and the postseason was lost. But he played in the last 15 Washington games.
The Raiders wrote Ferrell with the fourth general selection in 2019. He played four years with the Raiders before signing a one -year contract with San Francisco.
In 89 race games with 57 openings, Ferrell, considered more a race cap, has registered 17 captures and 25 cups for a loss.
