Sid Eudy, known under his wrestling names Sid Vicious, Sid Justice and Sycho Sid, died at age 63 after a battle with cancer. The scoop was announced by his son, Gunnar Eudy, on Monday.

Eudy began wrestling in 1987, wrestling in various territories and for Unutilized Japan Professional Wrestling before signing with Global Championship Wrestling in 1989 under his continued name Sid Vicious, who was immediately inspired by the Sex Pistols bassist of the same name.

At 6 feet 9 inches, Eudy had an astonishing physical presence and has always been characterized by having a natural air of reserve due to her unique look. His size led to him running in a WCW tag team with 6-foot-7 Dan Spivey as The Skyscrapers until Eudy was injured and replaced by Mark Callous, the man who would walk straight to becoming The Undertaker in the WWF. WWE.

Eudy would become a temporary member of the iconic Four Horsemen cast before leaving WCW for the WWF as Sid Justice in 1991. Eudy would not remain in the WWF for long before being released and re-signing with WCW. . and being exempt from WCW after a notorious real-life battle with Arn Anderson.

Eudy returned to the WWF in 1995 and was renamed Sycho Sid in 1996. Throughout that career, Eudy would win the WWF International Championship twice. That WWF run next ended as one of Eudy’s many injuries that required surgery.

Later recovering from neck surgery, Eudy wrestled on several separate dates before a 1999 stint with ECW, where he was introduced as a dominant force who was rarely asked to do more than powerbomb wrestlers, but his air of Secrecy made him a celebrity once again with a complicated ECW family.

Eudy’s last impressive run came with WCW, returning to the promotion in 1999. She went straight to winning the WCW United States Championship and the WCW International Championship twice. In 2001, Eudy suffered a gruesome concussion on the Sin PPV live broadcast when she broke her tibia and fibula while jumping off the second rope.

Eudy would make a few wrestling appearances after the upset, but never resumed full-time activity.
