The singer Sabrina Carpenter seems to be the next celebrity to appear in Fortnite Festival mode.
Last week, Fortnite Leaker Hypex published in X that Carpenter “could be” the next icon character that will arrive at the Fortnite festival.
Now, those statements have apparently given more weight thanks to another source, Shiina, publishing an image in X of a cosmetic microphone found in the files of the game.
The microphone is silver with a heart of sequins, and is identical to a microphone carpenter that has used in some of its live shows.
Each season of Fortnite Festival has presented a specific icon character, based on a real -life musical artist, which can then be unlocked and used in the other modes of the game. Each season also comes with a musical pass, a specific battle pass from the festival that unlocks new songs, poses and instruments with the theme of that artist.
The eighth season of the Fortnite Festival will begin on April 8, at which time its icon will be available. The current icon of season 7 is the Japanese character Vocaloid Hatsune Miku.
The previous icons of the Fortnite Festival have included Snoop Dogg, Karol G, Metallica, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga and The Weeknd.
Fortnite Festival was launched on December 9 and is developed by the former guitar hero and the study of the Harmonix rock band. As in those games, players choose an instrument (main guitar, bass, voice or battery) and press buttons to play the notes of a song selection.
Last month it was announced that the peripheral manufacturer CRKD is associating with Gibson to make a new range of guitar controllers based on the iconic Les Paul guitar design.
While guitars are mainly designed for use at the Fortnite Festival, all versions also work on PC Clone Hero and Yarg PC titles. Certain versions also work at Legacy Rock Band and Guitar Hero Games.
