Today, January 13, we will have a full moon and, as announced in December, developer Rebel Wolves is taking the opportunity to properly reveal its next game at a time when its developers should clearly be somewhere howling. , and you can check out that reveal here. To be fair, some of them are ex-Witcher 3 people, so they should certainly be used to a certain guy complaining about the howling wind.
In case this is the first time you’re hearing about Rebel Wolves, it’s made up of many former CD Projekt developers and is currently working on The Blood of Dawnwalker, a “dark fantasy RPG” that will be the starting point for a complete saga. Up to this point, we’ve learned the name of the game, that Bandai Namco is ready to publish it, and gotten a brief trailer, but there should be a lot more tonight.
You can watch The Blood of Dawnwalker gameplay reveal above on 9 pm BST, which is 10 pm CET, 1 pm PT and 4 pm ET on January 13, 2025. All you’ll have to do once the time passes is click play on the stream above from Dawnwalker’s Twitch channel, and voila, let your wolf moon begin.
What awaits you? Well, Rebel Wolves were pretty tight-lipped about it back in December, but have now provided more details in a tweet, revealing that all of the following will be on the live stream:
- A cinematic opening of The Blood of Dawnwalker
- Information about the main concepts of the game, including setting, characters, art, and some narrative and gameplay systems.
- A very small game preview.
Okay, so it shouldn’t be shit, other than maybe that last part.
