Sony has launched a new “centralized” beta program initiative for PlayStation, providing an easy way for the public to register the PlayStation 5 and PC games, as well as several console and application features, before its complete launch.
Sony describes the Beta PlayStation program as an “easy and centralized place” where players can register to participate in a variety of different betas. These are expected to include beta access to PlayStation 5 and PC games, the characteristics of the PlayStation 5 console, the characteristics of the PlayStation application and even the characteristics of the Sony PlayStation website. Any person interested in participating only needs to register once: the invitations will be sent automatically if a registered user is selected for a specific test, and then they are free to accept or reject that invion as best may seem.
“While we try to include as many players as possible in our Beta programs,” Sony explains in his advertisement in the PlayStation blog, “sometimes we can have more interest than we can accommodate. By joining this program, it allows you to be considered for beta participation, but does not guarantee the selection of a beta test.”
Players can register through the ‘Beta Program at PlayStation’ website, but Sony notices a Network PlayStation account and must be in good position with a current email address. In addition, participants must meet the legal age requirement in their region, and can only participate when there is a specific beta test available in that region.
“Thank you very much to those of you who have participated in all the betas we have offered in Sony Interactive over the years,” he concludes. “It is about to be easier and more convenient.”
