Sony has begun to issue compensation for the inactivity time of PlayStation Network last month.
At the beginning of February, an interruption of PSN left more users who cannot play online games for almost 24 hours.
Sony announced at that time that it planned to offer the subscribers another five days of service.
He said that this compensation would be automatically added to the accounts of the subscribers, although he did not specify when this would happen.
Compensation is now being implemented, according to Push Square, which recently discovered that five days had been added to the expiration date of its latest PlayStation Plus Premium payment.
Today is the last day that subscribers can claim the February playstation plus essential games. They are Payment Day 3 (PS5), High on Life (PS4, PS5) and PAC-Man World Re-Pac (PS4, PS5).
The Essential PlayStation Plus games will be available on Tuesday. They are Dragon Age: The Veilguard (PS5), Sonic Colors: Ultimate (PS4) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection (PS4, PS5).
Sony recently announced plans to move away from PS4 games as part of its monthly PlayStation Plus offers.
As of January 2026, “the PS4 games will no longer be a key benefit” of the service, with the owner of the platform in place, focusing their approach on offering PS5 titles.
