Patrick Mahomes is no stranger to facing the Las Vegas Raiders.
On Sunday, the Kansas Town Chiefs quarterback will face the Raiders for his 13th start against their top competitors, and the scorecard has not been similar.
Mahomes has a 10-2 record against Las Vegas, including 6-0 on the road. Since 1950, the only quarterbacks with more wins and without losing on the road to at least one opponent are Joe Montana and Roger Staubach. Mahomes is 18-1 in street games and his .947 winning percentage is the best of any founding QB since 1950.
He has thrown for 3,573 yards and 30 touchdowns against the Raiders, including a 406-yard, five-touchdown performance in a 41-14 rout.
Mahomes is not the first, nor likely the last, signal-caller to achieve great luck against a single opponent, or in this case, against an entire class.
Here’s a look at some quarterbacks with dominance in the regular season against a single opponent since 2000 (at least 15 games).

Brady haunted Costes fans for 20 seasons, turning a victory against them into virtual victory.
His .917 regular season winning percentage is the second-best of any quarterback against a single opponent. Roger Staubach of the Dallas Cowboys had a better ratio, going 16-1 (.941) against the New York Giants. Brady’s 33 wins are the most of any quarterback against a single opponent in a regular season; He is also in good shape with 30 wins against the Jets.
He threw for 9,032 yards plus 72 touchdowns and 25 interceptions. Brady arguably had his best performance against Buffalo in 2007, throwing for 373 yards and five touchdowns in a 56-10 victory.

Bulky Ben helped out on the commercial against top competition from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
They started 10-0 against the Browns, with their first loss coming in a low-scoring game in 2009. Roethlisberger remained undefeated against Cleveland in the regular season for the rest of his career, even though the Steelers lost to the Browns in the 2020 playoffs 48-37.
Report: 13-2
Winning ratio: .867
Prescott lost his first two games against the Giants, but hasn’t lost since – an impressive streak that has continued into this season.
Prescott’s 13 straight wins against New York are the second-longest winning streak by a quarterback against a single opponent since 1950. Miami’s Bob Griese has the longest with 17 wins against the United States.
His best performance came in 2019 when he threw for 405 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-17 victory.
Joe Flacco vs. the Cleveland Browns
Report: 18-3
Winning ratio: .857
Before leading them on an incredible run to the 2023 playoffs, Flacco was associated with negative memories for Cleveland fans.
Like Roethlisberger, he got off to a good start against the Browns, winning his first 11 conferences. Even if he left the AFC North and joined the Jets in 2022, Flacco pursued Cleveland. He threw for 307 yards and four touchdowns in a win against the Browns in 2022.
Report: 17-3
Winning ratio: .850
Whether he was with the Indianapolis Colts or the Denver Broncos, Manning found good luck against the Texans.
He threw for 5,853 yards plus a solid 48-to-8 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Manning had two 400-yard passing games, including 433 in 2010, the sixth-high of his career. Then, losing two head-to-head matchups against the Texans in 2010 and 2012, Manning has won the last eight conferences.
When he played in Houston in 2013, Manning prepared a single-season report for many touchdowns.
Report: 17-13
Winning ratio: .566
The New York Jets quarterback has started 30 games against the Vikings, which is his most against any opponent.
Although his winning percentage is slightly above .500, Rodgers has won 17 of his 30 starts, tied with Brett Favre for the most wins by any quarterback against Minnesota. Bart Starr is on at 11.
He has thrown for 7,401 yards, 59 touchdowns and 11 interceptions against the Vikings. In their only playoff matchup in the 2012 NFC Wild Card round, Rodgers threw for 274 passing yards and a touchdown in a 24-10 victory.
