The recent Warframe change to the defense missions has proven to be a change of wonderful quality of life that saves the player’s time and makes the type of mission much more palatial throughout the game, but there is a fun capture. A weekly Nightwave mission has shown a bit arduous due to change, throwing players into a larger routine than usual.
To decompose it, the recent change has reduced the number of waves for defense rotation from five to three. What this means in super simple terms is that now players only have to eliminate three waves of enemies before obtaining a reward, which is good and makes that new defense of the 1999 Warframe temple faster and faster. However, a weekly Nightwave search called “Defense” requires players to finish a defense mission after reaching Wave 20. This, with the new format, does not add completely.

In the past, to complete tonight weekly, I would have to extract from a defense mission after cleaning four rotations. This is a good design, ensuring that players take home at least one prize of each level of rotation. The standard reward level is AABC, so it was assured that it obtained a reward of two ranks A, a reward of range B and a reward of range C. for the good of Clarity, let’s say that you are making a mission of defense of the dark sector and obtain two relics of Meso, a neo relic and an axi relic.
However, to clean 20 waves now requires that you really complete 21 waves. So that’s Seven Complete rotations of a defense mission. In terms of rewards, the levels would go to Aabcaab. Following the previous example, there are four meso relics, two neo and an axi. It turns again, everything while enemies become stronger. As such, if you are doing defense missions for any other reason other than Nightwave Weekly, there is no real reason to stay after Wave 12.
Well, why does this matter? Well, it is terms of time dedicated to a defense mission, it will actually not have significantly eliminate this than what would do so in the past. Of course, you will have to sit launch addition extraction screens that will add a few minutes, but unless they are unlocking empty relics, it will not inflate the time spent so much time.
Well, this change makes it more difficult to maintain a four mission squad throughout the duration. As mentioned earlier, there is no real reason to stay in wave 12, which means that those who face the weekly without a super powerful warfall and superior load could be corporate by the posterior waves. In addition, some may be tempted to get out of the mission in wave 20, don’t do that! You really have to finish the root of defense in which you are for the weekly, so you can wave 21 and then extract normally.
But, apart from that, it is not the largest business in the world. In fact, it is a fairly fun remnant of the old defense format. If you are struggling to do this weekly, you can look for players of related ideas in the group of the group tarfe, find a large trail defense farm and block in the long term. Or, if you can’t find other players to help you, bring the best burden to Lith on Earth and explode a lot of low -level grineer until you have finished.
This will probably be solved in the coming weeks, but honestly, there is a sick part of my brain that wants digital extremes to maintain this. It is the same part of my brain that loved the old ashes farm. Look, it is a small weekly Wackey mission that pushes players to do something strange. Simply slapped in a podcast and vibrates, friend. Or, if he is not vibrating with him, he does not scare. Even if you do not complete the mission, you can recover it in recent weeks without problem.
