Welcome to the Thanksgiving edition of Week 13 grades!

Gather your family, grab some grub, and buckle up, because the best tradition of the NFL regular season is here: Thanksgiving football.

The Turkey Day action began with a wild game in Detroit where the Lions escaped with a 23-20 victory over the Chicago Bears. The victory ended a seven-game Thanksgiving losing streak for the Lions and improved their record to 11-1, now giving them the best start in franchise history.

The second game of the day will take place in Dallas, where two disappointing teams will face off: the Giants and the Cowboys. Although the Cowboys have struggled this year, they are probably grateful that the NFL scheduled them to play the Giants on Thanksgiving Day. Dallas has won seven straight games against the Giants and 14 of the last 15 in the series. The Cowboys are also a perfect 2-0 against the Giants on Thanksgiving Day with their most recent win coming in 2022.

The Thanksgiving Day Cup will take place on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field between the Miami Dolphins and the Green Bay Packers. The starting temperature is expected to be slightly below 30 degrees, which is not great news for a Dolphins team that has struggled in the cold weather. Including the playoffs, the Dolphins have lost 11 consecutive games when the starting temperature is below 40 degrees, so they will look to end that streak.

With that in mind, let’s move on to the Thanksgiving ratings, starting with the Lions’ dominant win.

Detroit 23-20 over Chicago

New York Giants (2-9) at Dallas (4-7), 4:30 p.m. ET (Fox)

Miami (5-6) at Green Bay (8-3), 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC)
