NFL Combine 2025 Takeeways: Degrees for the best DL perspectives, in addition to other winners and training losers in the field

The week is complete for defensive liners at NFL Scouting Combine. While some of the main names chose to sit, others, namely Derrick Harmon, used the time to take their opportunity.

These are some of the winners and losers of the exercises in the field of Thursday in Indianapolis, starting with a look at the measures of perspectives in The 50 best CBS Sports consensus classifications.

Note: Mason Graham only chose to make the bank press in Indianapolis, while Walter Nolen decided not to participate in any drill in the field. Kenneth Grant was supposed to exercise, but medical evaluations revealed a tension in the ischiotibial that kept him out of play.

Better qualified DL qualification

Derrick Harmon, Oregon: A

Thursday was an opportunity for Harmon to assign himself as one of the main defenders of the interior in this kind of draft considering that multiple pairs chose not to participate. Harmon was consistently a high performance through the exercises and was also measured as one of the largest bodies in position.

Omar Norman-Lott, Tennessee: B+

Norman-Lott had some sliding problems on the game surface of the Lucas oil stadium, but it was a really soft perspective in passing pass exercises that required a change of direction.

Deone Walker, Kentucky: B

Walker is in 6 feet and 7 inches, so leverage is naturally difficult to find for him. In relation to its size, Walker did a great job with the club, turned and flattened to the part of Marshal of Campo de la Noche. His feet were fast through the four -bag drill.

Darius Alexander, Toledo: B+

Alexander is following a path similar to that Karl Brooks did outside Bowling Green a few years ago. Brooks played on the edge for the Falcons, but was the size of moving within the next level. Alexander has continued to show well through the process prior to the draft.

Tyleik Williams, Ohio State: A-

Williams did not do any of the athletic tests, but he did very well during the part in the field of Thursday’s festivities. He had been known as a constant artist who specializes in career defense.

Eneas Peebles, Virginia Tech: B

Peebles is an interior defender under center of gravity and used it for its advantage through the exercises. He showed a flexible frame with a good foot game to move around the bags.

Blake Brockermeyer

Other winners

  • Ranking of prospects: No. 76 in general (No. 15)

Joshua Farmer’s film reveals a perspective with a good waist curve and explosiveness. Those qualities translated in the field on Thursday while doing a good job with its pad level and turned their hips.

JJ Pegues, Ole Miss

  • Ranking of prospects: No. 90 in general (No. 18)

Pegues is a unique perspective because it was originally a closed wing in Auburn and then made the change to the defensive line in 2021. In addition to its defensive line drills, it also worked as a fullback. Pegues is lower to the ground and maintained a strict alignment working the hoop drill.

Ty Hamilton, Ohio state

  • Ranking of prospects: No. 293 in general (No. 40)

Ty Hamilton’s teammate, Tyleik Williams, is highly appreciated in the CBSSports.com prospects ranking, but Hamilton can deserve more of his own recognition. He showed good affection and speed through essentially all exercises.

Other losers

Zeek Biggers, Georgia Tech

  • Ranking of prospects: No. 288 in general (No. 38)

Biggers is a naturally high -waist individual and that often makes curve and sauce exercises difficult to navigate. He looked a little rigid in transitions.

Tonka Hemingway, South Carolina

  • Ranking of prospects: No. 179 (No. 25)

Hemingway looked quite soft when he exercised, but fought with his balance throughout the afternoon. Lucas Oil Stadium changed its game surface and Several players had problems with the new game surface..
