Latham, who is currently in action with New Zealand at the start of their three-match Test series with England, will make Warwickshire his fourth county, following previous spells with Kent, Durham and Surrey.
“Warwickshire is a club with a great history and I am delighted to have the opportunity to represent them,” said Latham. “I’ve played at Edgbaston before and know how much the fans support the team there. It’s one of my favorite places so I’m excited to call it my stadium for the 2025 season.
“It will also be nice to bring the family to Birmingham and spend some time exploring the city. I would love nothing more than to help the Bears lift a trophy. I’m looking forward to the whole experience.”
