NDREAMS has launched a new study called Compass, since it closes another two.
In a statement to the game developer, the firm confirmed the closure of NDREAMS Studio Orbital and NDREAMS Studio after its restructuring program announced last September. As a result of this program, up to 17.5% of the staff were at risk of redundancy.
“Both teams did a brilliant job and many people from those affected studies have been held within the new NDREAMS appearance structure, and several of those who are part of the new Compass study,” said the editor and developer of virtual reality.
NDREAMS now consists of three studies: Compass, Ndreams Studio Elevation and Near Light.
Compass will be headed by the veteran of the Callum Godfrey industry, who previously had roles in Activision, Electronic Arts and King. Godfrey has been in NDREAMS since November 2023, when he joined as head of the publication of third parties.
The Compass team is composed of 40 employees, with experience in working in games that include 2023 synapse.
“The public of virtual reality is more diverse than ever, with an influx of players in the market that choose virtual reality as its main game platform, and Compass is located exclusively to meet their needs,” said Godfrey.
“Based on the vast VR experience of NDREAMS, Compass is completely focused on creating titles that touch the life of a new generation of virtual reality players.”
