Moore’s announcement was met with amusement and joy from her followers.

The England Under-19 international only had two first-team appearances for his title at the time, but the rumors surrounding Moore have been bubbling for many years, despite his game.

Moore was often a standout player throughout the Spurs’ preseason excursion, scoring twice and that includes all six games.

With so many prospects for the teenager’s frame, some fans feared leaving Moore before he began to fit into the first team.

Moore is now pushing to become a first-team regular.

“He is ready to start any game, I think, especially with younger players, you have to be very careful with his introduction into senior football,” Postecoglou mentioned.

“He’s still growing physically, you have to take that into account, so I think he’s ready to play, start a Premier League game for sure, but for me it’s about making sure, for us, that we develop Mikey from the right way.”

Postecoglou added that Tottenham captain Son-Heung-min was not going to play in Sunday’s Premier League trip to Crystal Palace.

“Sonny is still not well, he still doesn’t feel 100%,” commented the Australian.

“He won’t train today so this weekend is unlikely and we’ll see.”
