Another Iciness birthday celebration has been seen for Wonder Competitors, including a limited-time type of game inspired by Splatoon.
In Jeff’s Iciness Scatter Contest, players will control his cute land shark in two teams competing to save the world in colorful snow.
The version will be playable starting December 20, when the entire party launches, bringing impeccable outfits and also a Gallery Card customization tournament. Watch it all in the trailer below.
The impeccable costumes come with a cool Venom, Groot decked out like a Christmas tree and Rocket in a Santa hat, among others.
As for the Gallery Card, completing various tasks will reward players with limited-time pieces, including the Jeff the Land Shark: Cuddly Fuzzlefin dress and other rewards.
In additional information, clever game director Guangyun “Guangguang” Chen showed Dot Esports that cross-progression is in the works to allow players to freely travel across more than one platform. Go-play between PC, PS5, and Xbox Line X/S is already included, but development is currently limited to all platforms.
“Cross-progression involves a lot of platform-specific rules, we are still analyzing how to solve it,” Chen said. “Once the team is ready, once we have it figured out, we will share it with everyone and the players will be the first to know.”
Wonder Competitors has proven very popular since its creation at the beginning of the year. In its first weekend, 10 million players went online.
