“We are a bit fragile at the moment, that’s obvious,” Guardiola said. “It was difficult for us to score goals and when they arrived they scored.
“We play with a little negativity in our thoughts, but this is normal. Football is a feeling of mood.
“We were always a consistent team, conceding few opportunities. Our game was about control.
“This is not a team created to do box-to-box 40 times in a game, we are not good at that. We were always a team that conceded few but now we concede more. I wish there was just one reason but there are many.”
Former England striker Alan Shearer said on Match of the Day: “There were a lot of things wrong. It’s not just not having Rodri, it’s the defenders not defending properly. They don’t have the right press all over the park.”
“There’s a lot to work on, there was no protection and they were too open.
