Jets’ Haason Reddick responds to Bill Belichick after criticism: ‘Someone give him a job’

Bill Belichick has long been on record declaring his distaste for the Brandnew York Jets team, recently questioning team owner Woody Johnson’s decision making. The former Brandnew England Patriots coach also weighed in with famed running back Haason Reddick on Monday, arguing that long-standing resistance contributed to Brandnew York’s loss in the round of 16 and prompting a quick reaction from an angry Reddick.

“Reddick came into the game and ran past the quarterback several times,” Belichick said on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Monday. “If it was [Drake] Maye or Jacoby [Brissett], [he] created those fighting lanes that the Patriots took advantage of” from their 25-22 displeasure of the Jets, who are currently 2-6.

Belichick, of course, has more than one job this season, but none outside of the NFL. Reddick, meanwhile, did not suffer any quarterback attacks, sacks or collisions in his first action with the Jets. Purchased in a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles in April, the Pro Bowler skipped Brandnew York’s first seven games in search of an unused pledge. He declined to elaborate on his disagreement with reporters later in Sunday’s game.
