Honkai: Star Rail Players Can’t Get Enough of Belobog’s Trash Cans.

Honkai: Star Rail is the latest game by HoYoverse that has quickly gained a massive following due to its open-world RPG elements, challenging missions and side quests, and a vast universe filled with secrets waiting to be uncovered. While there are many entertaining interactions with the main characters and NPCs, one particular interaction with Belobog’s many trash cans has caught the attention of players, resulting in numerous memes and fan art paying tribute to the hilarious interactions.

Belobog is a location in Honkai: Star Rail where players can interact with various NPCs and investigate inanimate objects to learn more about the game’s universe. One of the most entertaining interactions is with the trash cans, which players can trigger to receive a Trash Can profile icon and a consumable item called Pleasant-Looking Trash. The interactions with the trash cans have birthed many memes poking fun at the protagonist’s interactions with the object.

A meme-inspired image was produced by a Honkai: Star Rail player by the name of CesarZebrah in honor of the funny encounters with Belobog’s garbage cans.  The fan art features the game’s protagonist, March 7th, lying in bed with Stelle, the default female protagonist, who’s hugging a trash can while sleeping. The fan art’s message, “Me my girlfriend… and her (sic) trashcan,” alludes to the original meme, which featured a lady holding a four-foot-tall, $500 Mareep. The fan art quickly gained attention on Twitter, with many fellow Honkai: Star Rail players finding it funny and relatable.

Apart from the conversations with trash cans, Honkai: Star Rail has many entertaining interactions with the main characters and NPCs, showcasing their unique personalities and adding a comedic touch to the game’s story. These interactions give players incentive to not skip dialogues and investigate as many items as possible in hopes of getting fun freebies and achievements in Star Rail.
