Grand Theft Auto and Borderlands Take -Two Interactive editor is demanding players from players, an online market already directed in a Roblox complaint, accusing it of selling “very modified” players accounts, very modified “players, articles and virtual currency obtained through hacks and tricks.
Take -Two’s demand, presented at the United States Central District Court of California last week and seen by Polygon, points to the network technology of the Chinese owner of players players. It accuses the company of administering a “company without law”, claiming that it has “total knowledge” of the supposed “unfair infraction and other unauthorized behavior” that occurs in its place.
“[This] It is not a regular market, “reads the presentation.” Instead, [it] RONS A Sophisticated SALS PLATFORM AND ACTIVELY RECRUITS ‘SELLEERS’ SKILLED AT USING HACKING SOFTWARE AND OTHER EXPLOITS TO CREATE INFRINGING DIGITAL GOODS AND TO PROVIDE IELGAL ‘SERVICES’ TO PLAYERS OF GTA 5. “MOR Listings for Unauthorised, Infringing GTA 5 Content-Including Heavily Modified Player Accounts, In-game Assets, and Virtual Currency-All Gained by Use of piracy software, tricks and technical feats. ”
Take-Two Claims The players of players sell accounts manipulated through piracy to provide “exorbitantly high game level classification and currency amounts in the game“, as well as the content that normally only accessible through a game or purchases. “On the scale of your website,” the demand continues, “players of the players runs the risk of flying the experience of the GTA 5 players and interferes with the balance and equity of the game.”
Take -Two states that “players of the players with evidence of infraction and other tortuous behavior” have repeatedly confronted, but says that their cessation and withdrawal orders so far have been ignored, while the technology of the Paiao network supposedly continues to reap “millions in income” by infraction. Take-Two says he is presenting his complaint to the Court to “close the market online to violate the players, finish their corrupt business model and protect the integrity of GTA 5 for its players.”
Take-Two claims relief for copyright and infraction of registered trademarks, and requests that the court “preliminary and permanently” prohibit the players of the accounts, virtual goods and virtual currency in GTA 5 or any of its other games. In addition, Take-Two wants players to prohibit “to help, incite, contribute or help, benefit or induce” the piracy of their software or infringe their registered marks GTA.
Take-Two’s demand follows a similar presentation against Roblox Corporation players last month. The company is also looking for monetary damage, in addition to requesting that the Court prevents players from buying, selling and exchange products related to Reblox.
