The Dallas Cowboys plan to use the franchise label at the Osa Osa Osa Osa Osa Osa Tackle if a long -term agreement is not reached before the deadline on Tuesday, the sources told Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano de ESPN on Sunday.
The franchise label for defensive tacle is projected at $ 25.1 million.
If the cowboys tag Odighta, it would be the seventh time in the last eight years that opted for the franchise label. The last two players labeled, the Tony Pollard corridor (2023) and the closed wing Dalton Schultz (2022), did not sign long -term extensions and left the following year through free agency. The cowboys were able to sign Dak Prescott (2020-21) and Demarcus Lawrence (2018-19) to long-term agreements after they used the label for the second time.
The teams have until Tuesday at 4 PM ET to place the label on their pending free agents.
A third round of the Cowboys in 2021 of UCLA, Odighta, 26, has not lost a game in his career (67 consecutive with 63 openings).
He had his best season in 2024 with a maximum of 4.5 captures, 47 cups, 5 cups for loss, 1 forced loose ball and 1 deviation of passes. 54 pressures were attributed, second in the cowboys to Micah Parsons.
With 6 feet 2, 280 pounds, Odighizuwa is based more on leverage and speed than brute force, but can endure well enough on the race game. He played 860 snapshots (77.9%) in 2024.
It has 17 tacle and 13.5 captures in its four seasons of the NFL.
