The 47th overall pick in the 2006 NBA draft, Millsap spent his career with the Utah Jazz, Atlanta Hawks, Denver Nuggets, Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers. He last played in the NBA for the Nets and 76ers during the 2021-22 season.
Millsap, 39, is one of eight players in NBA history to reach 500 three-pointers, 1,000 blocks and 1,000 steals. Millsap and Draymond Green were the only players to record 300 three-pointers and 300 blocks from 2013-2017.
During his career with the Hawks from 2013 to 2017, Millsap made four consecutive Eastern Conference All-Star Game appearances and averaged 17.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists. He was part of multiple postseason runs in Atlanta, including a trip to the Eastern Conference finals in 2015 after the team won a franchise-record 60 games.
Millsap joined the Nuggets in 2017 as a major free agent signing, making three playoffs in four seasons, including a trip to the Western Conference finals in 2020, while serving as a standout player and leader on and off the grid. the court
