As Civilization 7 launched at early access before its complete launch next week, developer Firexis has recognized problems with the game prominent by the “passionate community.”
In Steam, the game has received many negative criticisms complaining about its bad user interface and lack of features, and currently sits with a mixed rating. The review of Civilization 7 of Eurogamer described it as “a competent entry with some poorly executed ideas and a surprising lack of personality.”
Now, Firexis has identified three areas that seeks to improve in a new update publication, with a complete road map that is due soon.
The highest priority is to improve the user interface, said Firexis. “We need some time to digest all your comments, but some areas that we are already looking for include making IU interactions more intuitive, improving the readability of maps, fixing enamel areas such as format and more,” he explained.
The following are characteristics required by the community, which will be added in free updates. These will include:
- Add teams to multiplayer games so you can play cooperatively
- Allow the full players counts in multiplayer mode in the three ages through refinement to our distant land system.
- Allowing you to choose your start and completion age to allow simple or double age games
- Provide a broader variety of maps types
- Allow the names of the city and religion to be personalized
- Adding Hotseat multiplayer
Finally, patch 1.1.0 is already due to March, which will include changes in quality of life in the user interface, the balance of AI, adjustments to diplomacy and error corrections.
“We will support civilization 7 in the coming years, and their comments are still critical to help us grow and build the future of Civ,” concludes the publication.
Civilization 7 is the last of the series of long -term strategies, which entered the first access to the beginning of this week for those who bought their editions Deluxe or Founders. Its complete launch will be next week on February 11.
This time, the game narrator is Gwendoline Christie, who played Brienne of Tart in game of Thrones.
