Helldivers 2’s Democracy Space Station might be a problem right now, as its orbital bombardments continue to blow up as many Helldivers as robots and bugs, but there’s good news. Arrowhead says it’s on the case and just enacted a temporary measure to help while it works on a proper solution.
The DSS has had some pretty high expectations to live up to as a major Galactic War. So hopefully this means that the wave of bad reviews from exploited divers that followed an initial wave of positivity will result in DSS becoming a good thing again.

As part of its efforts to make that change, Arrowhead just announced a “temporary DSS increase” via tweet. “High Command has authorized increases in Helldiver charges while Planetary Bombardment Tactical Action is active,” he writes, “to ameliorate an unexpectedly steep increase in heroic sacrifices.
“This is a temporary change, while a full evaluation of the optimal number of sacrifices is carried out. Please refer to the DSS interface on your galactic map for more details.”

Shortly before this temporary measure was revealed, Arrowhead community manager Twinbeard had acknowledged on the Helldivers 2 Discord server, in response to player queries, that the studio was aware of the issue and was investigating. What action should you take regarding DSS.
“There was evidence and I don’t think the pressure was too strong either,” they wrote in a response. “It’s better to just acknowledge the fact that the first incarnation of DSS didn’t work as well as we did.” I wanted it and we will work hard to rework it and improve it. We will learn from this and grow. I’m sure there are many discussions going on right now. This is not the end of DSS. modify and evolve.”
What do you think Arrowhead should do in terms of adjustments or fixes to the DSS, to make it work like the Super Earth asset it was designed to be? Let us know below!
