Diablo 4 Pocket 2.0.3 does more than just bomb spam builds, it also makes Kurast Undercity races more rewarding.

Snowstorm has excused all the enthusiasm in the notes for Diablo 4 update 2.0.3, which will arrive on all platforms on October 17. This is, more or less, the game’s first meaty pocket since the cut of Vessel of Hatred and the start of Season 6.

Consequently, many of the changes fix many of the problems players had with it, bring back some missing features, and let the first post-expansion nerf hammer deal with annoying Spiritborn builds to evade spam.

Area 2.0.3 follows a design of smaller patches found after Vessel of Hatred. While almost all of them have been single-issue updates, this one has a much broader hit that encompasses stability, computer virus cures, or even some UI tweaks to make some boxes easier to read/navigate.

In addition to attacking everyone who evades spam builds, with some Spiritborn players expecting a modest difference in the coming days, the wallet is also making some improvements to the rewards players get from Kurast Undercity races. Undercity is an unused dungeon type that is exclusive to expansion owners, but players have complained that the rewards can be disappointing.

In reaction, Snowstorm is expanding the range of random goods drops and doubling gold drops from enemies. The pocket also makes it a certainty that at least one mythic item will come out. In addition to the rewards, the bag also brings some stability adjustments to Kurast Undercity. For example, completely remove monsters with too much condition from the enemy lake.

That said, you should also expect bosses and monsters with higher afflictions to be less tanky. Through the same token, the spawn rate of Super Troublesome Elites and Common Elites has been adjusted. Snowstorm may be making some adjustments to the Undercity timers.

Cast time is now 120 seconds, up from 100 (without tributes). Regular Elites now offer a ten second bonus (up from 8), and Super Troublesome Elites now offer a 15 second bonus instead of 14.

The Dim Fortress has also seen an increase in rewards! | Symbol Credit Score: Snowstorm leisure.

The unused Realmwalker tournament has been a favorite among players since the start of Season of Hatred and the expansion’s cut. We and many others take advantage of it to temporarily gain XP and level up. Area 2.0.3 brings some adjustments to speed up development progress.

This is achieved by expanding the largest spawn range imaginable from 15 to 20 and increasing the boss’s movement speed by 15%, which is an additional 10% each time a group of Bloodbound Guardians is killed. And, as an added bonus, Realmwalker encounters now have the expectation of spawning a Charity Goblin.

There’s also a sufficient number of very welcome UI tweaks in this pocket too. The highlight comes with some occasional property adjustments in rune crafting, as well as inserting accessories that already have gemstones. The tooltips for all runes and rune words have also been updated, so you will temporarily decide whether or not they are useful for your crafting.
