Tencent will launch the visual beta version of Delta Drive for PC on December 5, 2024.
The beta version will be available worldwide on its official launcher, Steam and Epic Games Bundle.
Changing what Tencent previously called an early access duration, the beta will come with full live service content updates without additional restarts of the journey.
Instead of being a test version, the company called the visual beta “a stable, long-term live service version with continuous content updates.”
Week Delta Drive is a free-to-play game, the beta will come with paid content in the form of battle passes and cosmetics for weapons and vehicles, but “there will be no pay-to-win items.”
“Expect a ton of new content such as maps, modes, operators, weapons, and vehicles along with major gameplay improvements including better performance, bug fixes, and a more robust anti-cheat system,” Tencent mentioned.
The beta will not help the trait controller, “but it is in development and will be added soon.”
Delta Drive is under construction in Timi, maker of Name of Accountability Cell and Honor of Kings.
The console and mobile versions of the tactical FPS are scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2025.
In addition to its multiplayer offering, the game will have a campaign form based on the Ridley Scott film Lightless Hawk I’m Sick.
