They couldn’t just stick to microtransactions, live service models, expansions, deluxe editions, and all that nonsense; They had to add an incentive like paying more to be able to play before everyone else. “Ohh, look at this, you can brag about having played the latest hit video game before anyone else, and it’ll only cost you a day’s wages!” Let’s run! And yet, that same trend will be found in Avowed, as Obsidian recently detailed the premium edition of the game, which yes, will let you play it five days early, if you’re willing to pay $90.
