Fragpunk, chaotic and the neon neon heroes of Neteease, has resolved the “unexpected technical challenges” with which he ran into early this year when trying to get the version of the console. As such, Xbox Series X/S and PS5 will finally arrive on April 29.
The 5V5 (and free) firing action of FragPunk marks many family gender paintings since its 12 “heroes” of Lancer different reach the battlefield, but everything becomes more spicy thanks to its modifier system based on cards, which sees the teams that group their chips won at the beginning of a match to decide the three possible options that they want to inflict into all those who have this turn.
The options are removed from a group of more than 150 cards of fragments, which means that the rules can be twisted sometimes dramatic. You can decide to give all mass heads, for example, or eliminate all the weapons of the game. Or you can choose a card that allows allies to put eggs to restore health or that teleports enemies at their spawning point after receiving damage.
It has its fair share of the problems, since Chris Tapsell de Eurogamer recently stated after playing Fragpunk for a while, but his trick for the game is good. “For someone who has always found this genre a bit too safe,” Chris wrote, “this is perfection … all the least desirable of this genre, toxicity and almost excessive tension levels, are easily deactivated when people are screwing is called ‘Mass Crab Walk’. When playing in a few hours of this week, I had an explosion.”
Originally, FragPunk would be supposed to be launched for Xbox and PlayStation at the beginning of last month, at the same time as the PC version. However, Netease opted for a late last minute console delay, blaming “unexpected technical challenges.” Now, however, in a brief shared message on social networks, the company has confirmed a launch of April 29 for Fragpunk on PS5 and Xbox Series X/s, thanking the players for their “continuous patience and unwavering support.”
It is also a promising “gifts” not specific to comfort players “as a sign of our gratitude and compensate for delay.” These will be sent to all newly registered console game accounts and will include rewards of limited events over time from the beginning of season 1 to April 29. “A detailed list of all the aforementioned rewards and its distribution methods,” he adds, “will be shared in a separate advertisement before the launch.”
