CD Projakt has published its financial results by 2024, informing its third best year in terms of net profits even though there are no important releases.
The developer reported a 17.9% decrease in sales at 985 million PLN ($ 254 million) compared to 1.2 billion PLN ($ 310.4 million) in 2023.
Its net profit decreased by 2.3% of PLN 481.1 million ($ 124 million) the year before PLN 469.8 million ($ 121.5 million).
Cyberpunk 2077 and its Phantom Liberty expansion were the main sales drivers, generating almost 600 million PLN ($ 155.1 million) in 2024.
As of November 2024, Cyberpunk 2077 sales exceeded 30 million copies, while Phantom Liberty sold more than eight million units.
Also in November, Witcher 4 entered large -scale production. Project Sirius, a multiplayer game set in the Witcher universe, is in pre -production.
The developer said he has decided to merge the molasses flooding team in CD Projakt Red “to guarantee a better alignment in the scope and direction” of the Sirius project.
The Witcher remake, announced in October 2022, is in the conceptual phase, as well as the next Cyberpunk Codenamnamed Orion project.
In other places, CD Projekt reported that its development team increased by 10% to more than 700 employees since last November, with its main recruitment approach in the next Ciberpunk project. Plan this team plans at the end of 2025.
