Later this month, Battlefield 2042’s, Eleventh Hour, fourth season will be released.

The new season, which becomes available on February 28, includes “a variety of brand-new content,” such as a new map, Specialist, weapons, vehicle, and “100 new tiers of Battle Pass content.”

According to EA, “cosmetic goods” will be available to those purchasing the premium battle pass, while “core content additions will be available to all players, even those with the free tier BP.

The new South African map, Flashpoint, has “rocky landscapes” and “ample internal areas,” including an underground tunnel. New Specialist Camila “Blasco” can move across the map without triggering motion-sensor technology thanks to her reconnaissance training and “customized tactical gear.” She also has an X6 Infiltration Device that “interferes with active spotting technology” and prevents lock-ons from “hostile devices”.

There’s more: the CAV-Brawler is a new vehicle, and a number of new weaponry, such as the Super 500 Shotgun Sidearm, RM68 assault rifle, AC9 SMG, and more, have been included.

Battlefield 2042’s upcoming fourth season, Eleventh Hour. It sounds like there will be a lot of exciting new content for players to enjoy. Here is some more information about what we can expect:

  • New map: The fourth season will introduce a new map, although details about the location and setting have not been announced yet.
  • Specialist: A new Specialist will also be added to the game. This character will have their own unique abilities and gadgets, which should add some new strategic options for players.
  • Weapons: Along with the new Specialist, the season will bring new weapons to the game. It’s unclear how many or what types of weapons we can expect, but they should add some variety to the game’s arsenal.
  • Vehicle: Similarly, a new vehicle will be added to the game, although again, we don’t know much about it yet.
  • Battle Pass: Finally, the season will offer a new Battle Pass with 100 tiers of content. This will likely include new cosmetic items, weapon skins, and other rewards for players to unlock as they progress through the tiers.

Overall, it sounds like there will be a lot of new content for players to enjoy when Eleventh Hour arrives on February 28th.

With the game’s disastrous November 2021 release, EA has changed the way it is developing Battlefield by enlisting the help of support studios Industrial Toys, Ripple Effect Studios, and Ridgeline Studios, with Vince Zampella of Respawn leading the franchise.

DICE stated that it had taken “important lessons” from the release of Battlefield 2042 and that it would “revert a lot of the modifications” it had made for the game’s next sequel, which is now under development.
