The first unused Astro Bot speedrun level will be available the next day, October 17.
Precisely called Development Speed, it is the first of five remote levels that are added every Thursday until November 14. Levels will come with 10 special unused Bots for general rescue (two per level).
Speedrun levels are designed to test platformers’ skills and feature a web leaderboard so you can rate your chances with friends.
The 5 ranges can be downloaded as follows:
- October 17: Speed of development
- October 24: Let it go
- October 31: spring run
- November 7: Helium Heights
- November 14: Emerging Warmth
Sony revealed in the latest Circumstance of Play games that special Bots based on Stellar Blade’s Eve and a Helldiver from Helldivers 2 can be integrated, but what remains remains a mystery.
“We’ve read so many great reviews and received so many positive comments, and it’s been incredible,” reads a PlayStation blog post from Staff Asobi studio head Nicolas Doucet. “However, if there was one answer that came through loud and clear, it was that you wanted more. So rather than putting our little robotic feet up just yet, we’ve been busy working and have some new surprises ready for you.”

When you’ve done it and wondered why deny Sq. Enix Special Bots have been integrated, Doucet recently said it was “difficult to comment” on why they’re missing.
