Apple Reportedly Planning Thinner, Foldable iPhones

Details of plans to revolutionize Apple’s iPhone range in the coming years have apparently been leaked.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the company plans to launch slimmer and foldable models of its flagship device.

The publication’s sources claim that Apple is pushing for a 2026 release of a foldable iPhone with a larger screen size than the 16 Pro Max’s 6.9-inch screen.

Starting in 2025, Apple is also said to introduce an iPhone that is thinner than the 8-millimeter profile of current models. It will reportedly be cheaper than the Pro models and feature a simplified camera system.

Apple recently announced the games coming to its Apple Arcade service in December and January.

Highlights include four Square Enix RPGs, all of which are coming to the service as ‘+’ versions. Final Fantasy 4 (3D Remake)+ and Final Fantasy 4: The After Years+ joined the subscription service last week, while Final Fantasy+ and Trials of Mana+ arrive on January 9.

‘+’ versions of games in Apple Arcade are titles that are already available in the standard iOS App Store, but they remove any monetization present in those versions, whether it’s a starting price, in-game purchases, or ads.

Talking Tom Blast Park, Boggle: Arcade Edition, Pac-Man 256+, Hot Wheels: Race Off+, Barbie Color Creations+, and Little Cities: Diorama (Apple Vision Pro) joined Apple Arcade earlier this month.

January 9 will also see the release of Gears & Goo (Vision Pro), Three Kingdoms Heroes, Rodeo Stampede+, and It’s Literally Just Mowing+.
