Discover the Exciting Changes to Apex Legends Ranked in Season 16 Split 2!

Apex Legends Season 16 has been underway for some time now, and with the start of the second Ranked split, players are looking forward to some exciting changes. In this article, we’ll cover everything you need to know about the maps, Split 2 date, and changes in Ranked play for Season 16 of Apex Legends.

Ranked mode in Apex Legends is all about competition and players are constantly looking for new challenges. This season, players will have access to three different maps for ranked play: Broken Moon, Storm Point, and Olympus.

However, the addition of Olympus came as a surprise to many players. It was added to the rotation on March 28, along with the Sun Squad Collection Event. This also meant that World’s Edge was moved out of rotation.

One significant change this season is the new system for map rotations in ranked play. Instead of waiting for the new split to begin, the maps will now rotate every 24 hours. This means that players won’t have to play on the same map for the entire split, and there will be more variety in ranked play.

However, this change also means that fans of Kings Canyon and World’s Edge will have to wait longer to play on those maps. The new rotation system has received mixed reviews from players, with some welcoming the change, while others are disappointed to have to wait longer to play on their favorite maps.

The second Ranked split for Season 16 started on Tuesday, April 4. This means that the first split was relatively short, lasting only 48 days. This could be a direct response to feedback from players who found the first split of last season to be too long. Respawn has promised that future splits will not be as long as the first split of last season.

Season 16 of Apex Legends didn’t introduce a new Legend, but instead focused on balancing changes to existing Legends. Similarly, there were only a few changes to the Ranked mode, with the new map rotation system being the most significant change.

In Ranked mode, players’ ranks are reset at the start of each new season and the beginning of the second split. However, in Split 2, players’ ranks are only reset by 1 rank (four divisions) instead of 1.5 ranks (six divisions) as was previously the case. At the start of the next season, players will be granted rewards based on their highest ranking across both splits.

Season 16 of Apex Legends has brought some exciting changes to the game’s ranked mode, with a new map rotation system being the most significant one. The addition of Olympus to the ranked maps has also been a welcome surprise for players.

While players were hoping for more significant changes in Ranked play, respawn has promised that more changes are coming later this year. With these changes, players can expect even more excitement and competition in future seasons.
