Annapurna Interactive has appointed former Netflix Games executive, Leanne Lombe, as game director.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Lobe will supervise the creative, development and publication segments of the company.
She will report to the president of Interactive and New Media of Annapurna, Héctor Sánchez, who returned to the company last June after spending five years in Epic Games.
“I have always admired how incredibly reflective Annapurna when supporting developers who have a strong creative vision and empower them to create high quality games that players love them,” Loombe wrote on LinkedIn.
“This is a unique opportunity in life to continue creating and strengthening a place that developers can call home. I am very excited to join such an incredible company to help create the future of stories narration.”
Sanchez added: “Few leaders have the extensive experience of Leanne in quality control, publication and internal development of games. She understands what is needed to create a good game from the inside out, which makes her a great partner for our developers “.
Loombe previously worked for Riot Games as head of third and second development for his editorial seal, Riot Forge. He left the position in 2021 to become vice president of external games in Netflix.
She also worked for Electronic Arts for six years as the main producer in Criterion Games and executive producer in Ghost Games.
