A new website has been launched to facilitate the search for fighters created in WWE 2K25.
WWE2KTools is the work of Ginx TV and is described as “a new dedicated platform designed to improve the WWE 2K games experience by providing players with a dedicated center to discover and share community creations.”
For some time, players have complained that while the mode of community creations of the WWE 2K series offers players access to a wealth of fighters created by the user, doing so can be a frustrating process.
Slow servers, long waiting to obtain characters before download, and the elimination of WWE 2K25 of a ‘most recent’ tab means that finding a specific fighter takes some time, and just sailing for someone interesting it takes even more.
WWE2KTools is designed to avoid this, offering an online database of created fighters (CAWS). Instead of extracting creations from the game itself, WWE2kTools is based on user shipments, which means that the list is much smaller than in the game, but, nevertheless, it is easier to navigate, with screenshots of each creation easily available.
Once the players find a fighter they want, they have to go to the mode of creations of the community in WWE 2K25 and simply look for the hashtags of that creation to find and download it.
At the time of writing this article, there are about 160 creations already available in the database, including the creations of such creators of the WWE 2K25 community such as Whatstatus, MPCAWS and Viceroyflair.
Over time, the site will add a universe planner, which is described as “a simplified way of organizing WWE 2K universe programs, stories and rivalries without trusting external spreadsheets.”
It will also add a simulator draft, allowing fantasy bookers to “generate balanced lists for their WWE 2K mode programs personalized with ease.”
VGC’s WWE 2K25 review calls it “another solid struggle,” criticizing its new mode of the island, but otherwise praising the depth and details of the game.
“With a series of improvements in all its existing modes, WWE 2K25 surpasses its predecessor in almost all the senses,” we write. “The weak link is the new island mode with its mechanical payment cynical to win, but throw a dinner mockery on the face and pretend that it does not exist and you will find more than enough in another part of the game to stay entertaining for months.”
