As a reminder: The six best teams at each conference automatically obtain places in the 16 -team playoff field. The final Four Playoff Spots will be determined by the game tournament, which will feature the numbers 7-10 at each conference. The seventh place team receives the team of eight places to win the seed number 7. The loser of that game will face the winner of a game between the teams of the ninth and tenth place for seed number 8.
East has developed a clear top six with only a few remaining weeks in the regular season, while the Timberwolves and Clippers will wait to locate the warriors and rockets in the West.
