WR Romeo Doubs among three Packers ruled out against Dolphins

GREEN BAY, Wis. — With the quick turnaround of Thursday night’s game, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs was unable to clear the concussion protocol to play in time for the Thanksgiving game against the Miami Dolphins.

Doubs suffered the concussion in Sunday’s win over the San Francisco 49ers. He ranks second on the team this season with 34 receptions and 483 receiving yards. He also has two touchdown receptions.

As expected, cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hamstring) were also ruled out for the second straight game. The Packers didn’t have any real practices this week, just walk-throughs, so it would have been difficult for them to show progress.

Center Josh Myers (pectoral) and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie (ankle) were listed as questionable. However, if the Packers had practiced on Wednesday, they would have participated at some level, meaning there is a good chance they will play on Thursday.
